Go 530 and MP3 Problems

Postby hogan7777 » Tue Dec 21, 2010 12:44 pm

I have a Go 530 with 8.351 Navcore and UK 860. map on the internal memory. With this set up I can play mp3 files with no problem but when i plug in a card with Europe maps on I cannot play the mp3 files.I have tried creating a MP3 file on the memory card and putting the music on that but they will not play.
Any ideas please

A SD card, with nothing on it but a map/maps, should not interfere with the mp3 function.

Thats what I thought but as soon as i plug in a SD card the MP3 stops playing and cannot be restarted.I have tried with 2 diferent cards with the same results.
I will try a few more combination s and get back to you if i have any results. Its driving me crazy because without MP3 playing i keep loosing the instructions over FM.
It may take some time as I am on the road traveling.

Are you 100% positive, that there is nothing else on the card/cards but a map folder &/or there is nothing in the map folder but map files. I put a card with 2 maps in my 720 with NC 9.205 (.bak =8.351) & had no problem with TT Jukebox.

a solution to this problem maybe to install the navcore to the sd card ;) , not a perfect solution but if we can not find out the cause it may be your only solution ;)
