Postby hogan7777 » Tue Nov 02, 2010 5:10 pm

on the internal drive I have 8.351 navcore with uk map and I can play instructions through FM transmission
I have just loaded Europe map and 8.351 navcore onto sd card but it will not let me have option to play instructions through fm.????

There is no need to have a navcore on the card, especially the same navcore. However, if this is the setup that you really want, confirm that both memories are set up identically, except for the maps.

:doh:I think i have got it .Got confused by needing a truck navcore for the truck map on sd card.
All working ok now i used the original navcore. But it has thrown up another problem I would like to fix.
Truck navcore works truck map and voice command but not FM transmission (this I can live with)
Navcore 8.351 allows FM but not voice command.
Is there a navcore that I can use on my Go 530 that will allow FM and Voice command plus A.L.G and IQ routes on a non truck map.Or am I aking the impossible.
Thank you.

Yes, you are asking the impossible. When FM instructions was brought back with NC 8.350, it only applied to GO x20 & x30 devices. To my knowledge, TT has not expanded the list since then. There is no way to have Voice Command & Control + FM instructions functioning at the same time. ALG & IQ Routes are map features & are not an issue.
