I have a new GO 550 with one years HD subscription, can anything be added to it like voices and other cracked maps. i dont want to change the main settings or put a hacked navcore on it, just cracked maps and voices. Can this be done?

A patched navcore is required to run anything "cracked". Leave your internal setup alone & put a patched navcore, "cracked" map, etc on a microSD card. Your 550 will default to the card, if inserted.
