Go 700 Dead Or Alive? (Old Edition)

Postby Wildey1771 » Sun Aug 03, 2014 4:06 pm

Hi
I have been playing around with some navcores for a while on this device and today i tried to power it up and go nothing except the green light. It does nothing else even when plugged in for charging. I have noticed there is a small chip which gets very hot next to the power button. Is this normal? I cant get anything from the device at all. What can I do as I need this to be working because of a trip coming up shortly. Any Ideas?

Thanks - Wildey

You can try a 30 second hard reset. If no help, then look for a replacement unit.

Okay so its not completely dead, i did manage to get it to turn on a couple times. Just a thought, i know the battery has been completely destroyed. Could this be the issue?

So, I did some playing around and replaced the battery, and that seems to have fixed it. Not sure why it didnt work whilst plugged in but a new battery fix it.

Thanks For The Suggestion!
