Go 720 Best Navcore?

Go 720 Best Navcore?

Postby Matty » Thu Mar 03, 2011 11:43 pm

Hi guys I'm just mucking around with navcores and am wondering what's the best nc for my go 720. Currently I'm running 8.351 with 865 maps (by the way I'm in Australia) I have found that navcore is the best so far in the 8.*** range, all the options work like bluetooth, speedcams and I can get gps signal inside! Are there any 9.*** that are better or as good for this model? Thanks in advance for any advice.

You won't find either one to be better than the other.

Emu x40 gives you Jukebox, but no Auto day/night.
Emu x50 gives you Auto day/night, but no Jukebox

Confirm you copied the "][email protected] folder into the extensions folder here:

With XPC:\Documents and Settings\ User Name\Application Data\TomTom\HOME\Profiles\xxxxxxxx.default\extensions
With Vista or Windows 7
C:\Users\User Name\AppData\Roaming\TomTom\HOME\Profiles\xxxxxxxx.default\extensions

http://download.tomtom.com/sweet/plugin/9-205-547817-1.win.2.2.xpi You have to change the .xpi to .zip or .rar. When you unzip it, it creates it's own [email protected] folder. That is the folder that you copy to extensions.

Ok I've done that but still no-go, this is the error I get off TT Home

invalid version of the TomTom application installed on your TomTom device. To use HOME you need to install the correct version of the TomTom application.

The invalid navcore message is an entirely different issue from the one in posts 10 thru 13.

To fix version error.
Open the ttgo.bif file with Notepad.
Replace lines 9 & 10 with these:
ApplicationVersionVersionNumber=8351
ApplicationVersion=9982
"Save as" ttgo.bak
Disconnect & reboot.
