What "archives"? It is pretty straight forward if you have a good read through this thread etc

Download maps with TTActivator from command line

Download the TTTActivator archive.
Unzip the TTActivator archive into a folder.
Open an MS-DOS prompt in the folder where TTActivator was unpacked.
Type command line parameters with syntax

"archive" = "tool"

Sorry but that doesn't help me.
Tried manually load USA_Canada 1140_12533 for map but nothing downloads, Says error occurred.

Finally got TTActivator to work, Had to do a few things to computer and reloaded TTActivator

NOW is when you should do a FULL Windows backup of your device/memory

I ran TTActivator and saved to a file. I still need to load the file on a SD card and likely patch the Navcore and then see if I am successful. It should work!

When I try to switch map unit says this map can't be used with this device. Is there something else that I need to do?

You need to activate it (assuming there's a meta code for it in meta txt doc) When activated you will see in the map folder a file called ...meta.dct Also you need to patch the navcore. It is all about here if you have a scan/search/read around you will find all the answers
