Is there any step-by-step tutorial for completely silly dummies for clean installation of NC 9.510 and some actual CEE region maps? It would be helpful for me at this moment i think...

"Pack Navcore SE 9.510 for GO (9.510.1-2039.CAB-navcore-GO" is not a Navitotal download. For quality control reasons, we do not support any downloads but our own.

yes there are generic instructions in the the tutorials for a clean install of everything required for a working device. However the official navcore from tomtom plus a map downloaded from here, both patched with the latest fast activate will work for your device. You've been pretty close already to having a working device, don't give up just yet. Good luck.

All I can tell you from years of experience:
The 730 is one of the most compatible devices in terms of using unofficial Navcores,
I also know that basically any NC available (for PNA, not for in car-systems) will work just fine on it.
Of course this is also true for the original NC when patched with FastActivate.
This only leaves two options:
a) a faulty device (unlikely but still possible)
b) user error

After checking this thread completely, I tend to option b) ;)

The only problem that this poster had in post 1 was a TT Home navcore update to 9.510. Had he patched it at that point, this thread would not exist.

tendriver wrote:If there is a .meta.dct file in the 910_4892 folder, cut & copy it to your desktop. The 910.4892 map in now unpatched. Copy the unactivated map, referred to in line 1 of this post, into your unit. Disconnect & reboot the device. If the device does a complete boot up, this confirms that the 9.510 navcore is still not patched.

janek.vl wrote:yes, this exactly happened.

If I am correctly interpreting the poster's reply to my instructions above, then all that is needed is return the 910.4892 meta.dct file to the 910.4892 map folder, as well as follow the 9.510 instructions in post 2.

Well, after some time I got back to my old TT Go 730 and the tried to solve the problem above. But it still remains :(
I deleted all data from the unit (all my previous tries) without formatting and installed these:
1) Universal NC installer (latest version from Navitotal) - manual says there´s no need to patch NC anymore.
2) Central and Eastern Europe 915.5106_Installer (from Navitotal)

Two self-unpacking archives. It can not be easier. After the installation there is no meta.dct file in unit´s map folder. So I used FastActivate-02-10-2013. After rebooting the unit I have the same problem (no GPS signal, autoreboot after 90 seconds). Also EasyActivator did not help. Do I have faulty TT unit?

Apart from the fact that formatting is not helping at all unless you have real data damage in your files.
