TT GO 730 restarting after 90sec, no GPS signal

Postby janek.vl » Sun May 26, 2013 8:38 pm

Could someone help me to find the ideal combination of Navcore and maps (CEE region) please? My Go730 hasn´t been updated for few years.
Today, after connecting to PC some updates were installed, but now the device stopped working (the old maps were cracked). It boots, but after exactly 90 second it reboots. And can not find any GPS signal. When I just run Navcore without maps loaded in device, it stays without reboots. Also when map is not activated the device stays turned on.
I tried to instal different versions of Navcore (9.051, 9.465 and 9.530SE), maps (Western_and_Central_Europe_2GB_860_3110, Central_and_Eastern_Europe_910_4892, Eastern_Europe_910_4952) but no success. I used FastActivation 04.04.2013 and Albert´s EasyActivator 0.57.21 (both gave me OK as a result).
I tried to format the internal memory (FAT16 and FAT32), to clear flash with ClearFlash (always 5x), to delete mapconfig.cfg in maps folder, to "Operate Go" in TomTom Home 2.

What´s wrong?

The device can´t also read my ADATA microSDHC 8 GB card in SD adapter - it shows me only 256 Mbytes. Why?

Thanks.

JV.

TT Home installed navcore 9.510, which is the current navcore for your 730. Patch it with 9.510 SE ttsystem.rar & you are back in business. Everything that you did after the TT Home update was a total waste of your time.

tendriver: thank you for reply. But it did not help. I´ll try to describe step by step my process:

1) format the internal memory (not quick format, FAT file system)
2) run clearflash several times
3) connect to PC (TT Home 2) and install some version of Navcore
4) disconnect, boot, wait for error with "no maps found"
5) connect again, update Navcore to actual version
6) copy map directory to root directory of device
7) copy fastactivate (updated to 2013-05-20) to root
8) run fastactivate step by step
9) copy your file (ttsystem) to root
10) disconnect and reboot the device

And the problem remains. Where did I make a mistake?

This quote from post 1 confirms that at that point, the navcore was not patched.

If there is a .meta & a .meta.dct file in the Central_and_Eastern_Europe_910_4892 map folder, then we are back to the 9.510 navcore not being patched.

If there is a .meta.dct file in the 910_4892 folder, cut & copy it to your desktop. The 910.4892 map in now unpatched. Copy the unactivated map, referred to in line 1 of this post, into your unit. Disconnect & reboot the device. If the device does a complete boot up, this confirms that the 9.510 navcore is still not patched.

When i removed .meta.dct file from device and rebooted it, red screen with "the map can not be used in this device" showed up. But FastActivate says my Navcore is patched (see above).

Are you sure you used the SE ttsystem?
You are doing something wrong and I doubt FA is the problem.
And patching a SE Navcore should not be done as it is already patched!

I used this: "Pack Navcore SE 9.510 for GO (9.510.1-2039.CAB-navcore-GO"
