9.510 is the current navcore for your 730. Updating it through TT Home will not cause the voice to quit working.
In Change Preferences:
1. On page 1 you should see a
red icon, titled "Turn off Voice guidance". This is the correct setting.
2. On page 2 Voices confirm that the selected voice will test OK, confirm Speaker preferences is set to "Internal speaker", confirm that Volume preferences is set correctly & confirm that there is a
red icon titled Turn off sound, which is the correct setting.
