865 maps with installer and FastActivate

Excellent its working! two last questions -

Is my tomtom home 2 now patched too - (what does this mean I can do)?

How would one go about getting new voices - (although I am happy now just with the new map!)

If you patched Home it will be patched, I can not tell you what you did ;)
Download voices from the corresponding section in the forum or by using Home.

Hello, I have installed the western europe 865.2346 map over TTN7.918 and it works a treat, one problem i have though is that i cant pick an address outside UK, i.e i wanted to navigate to Charles De Gaule, i cant select city as Paris, not even an address in Paris

i have the zip folder for uk postcodes, do i need france and europe country postcodes as well?

TomTom postcodes cover the UK, the Netherlands & Singapore only.

Cheers tendriver, for the reply, do you think i have a faulty installation as i can navigated to uk addresses either using postcode or city/strret name but cant do that for cities outside uk, even thoug i can brouse to them on the map

When you push "Navigate to" option do you push the Union flag, top right-hand corner, to select France then search for "Paris"?

when i push the union flag it only shows united kingdon and vatican city

Maybe using the french flag will help when you search for Paris?
When you search for a city outside your current country than you have to select the new country before that afaik.

This is true.
I think we are assuming "map 865.2346" is a typo and you downloaded 865.3246. If your map really is 865.2346 then give 865.3246 a go - see Post #1.
