865 maps with installer and FastActivate

I don't think WE are assuming anything. Yes, post 52 is a typo. j3bbe clearly states in post 58 that he has map western europe 865.3246

YEEPEEE!!.. How weird is that tendriver, I have now downloded the western europe 865.3262 bye popeye, and guess what, i can see flags for all of west europe (more than 8 countries), this works as it should..........O.k dont say I'm greedy now, Eifell Tower that i'm going to visit during the next mid term break is not in the .3262 POI, any reasons why, is there another POI folder i can add to include this? or can i copy poidata from another working map into the .3262 map

Hamish might have a point, in that 865.3246 might have been labbelled incorrectly as .2346 by mistake (no slight on the helpfull downunder who have painstakingly worked to make maps available) assuming that 865.3246 is just Great Britain and vatican city, is that North Europe then?. I suppose we dont deen to upload re-load anything just note that if anyone else has this issue, we can get them to download another map

Guess what? Western Europe 865.3262 does not exist. There is a Europe West 865.3262, which is a zone map & is different from the Western Europe maps.

None of this is correct or valid.

My error, i downloaded the Europe West (865.3262), the original issue i had was that I didnt get the option to select different countries if i press "navigate to" when i downloaded the 865.3246 map, as compared to now having the option after downloading the Europe West

I've not noticed which device you have; if it has a slot for a memory card of 4GB or more try W&CE 865.3245 - it works fine on my GO910 - then it wouldn't be necessary to use zone maps.

Main menu, Manage POIs, Add a POI category, create a category. Then go back to Manage POI's, Add POI, select the category that you added & add the Eiffel Tower.

SE_Navcore.9.205.547817_32mb_devices.rar (Widescreen ONLY), and also downloaded the following map Europe_865_3256 2.15 GB

Detailed navcore installation instructions are here: TomTom Automatic Navcore Installation , which is where you downloaded the 9.205 navcore.
Unzip the map & copy the unzipped map folder onto your 910 hard drive. Patch it with the patcher included in the downloaded navcore.

It works, if you do it correctly.
NO idea until you post exactly what you did.
Define "doesn't work".

After installation, when i connect my gps comes a messagem problem with the map.I did the same procedures with my earlier map,which works well 860 31xx

Navcore must be patched and map must be activated (check for .meta.dct file in map folder).
Did you get an error during the activation?
Have you updated the meta.txt?
Did you use the included FastActivate or a different tool for the activation?

I used fast activate.. my navcore was pathched and the map was activated wich no error but when i turn the gps the message appears.....I formated the memory did the same procedure but nothing.

I used North America 2gb 865.3245 and then i formated
second time Norht America 865.3254

in tomtom home it gives me the option to upgrade to version 865.3245
