880.3811 won't activate on my TT ONE V4 ?

Postby jonno2001 » Thu Jan 12, 2012 2:59 pm

Hi all

I am trying to update my TT ONE V4 with latest maps. DL and installed UK+ROI 880.3811 and copied FastActivate 1.8.8.0 to the TT Root. Files show that it has added the UK+ROI map set 453.meta and FastActivate says that it has added the dct file correctly too.

Yet when I restart my TT it now says that the activation code does not match the map 453 ??

Any ideas if I need to do anything more than this ? Or a better map set than 880.3811 perhaps ?

Finally, not done an update on this device before (many time on my GO730 though), but can't remember if I need to patch the TTSystem file in some way first ??

Regards
John

1. What version navcore are you using? Did you patch your navcore?
2. 3811 has features that you can't use. It doesn't have features that you can use. You want 3865. It doesn't have features that you can't use. It does have features that you can use.

Hi Ten

Reloaded all the original files to recover original maps, Navcore shows as 7.522,
so pretty old but I don't want to upgrade this in any way (obviously a patch is fine)
So maps 3865 are a no-go either I'd imagine ?

Not done an update from a 'virigin' TT for a long time now, but how do I patch the NavCore ?

Thanks
John

Ahhh, think I may have found the answer in another post .... think I need to download the fastActivate Premium version and patch all 4 files, rather just the lite version for patching the maps next time and beyond ??

It seems it was just the lack of using the Premium version for a virgin device as that has the Patch TTSystem file button too.
I should have read the other posts first

Thanks anyhow and keep up the excellant work :dance_mini:

You need to upgrade to a new navcore, 7.903 or higher.
