925 maps error

Postby lubrik » Mon Mar 17, 2014 12:07 am

I had no luck trying to make my TT1 work with 925 maps. I did download all the USA maps, and nothing worked. It is not the first time doing this to my TT1 but it is the first time that none of the maps work with my TT1. Any tips?
Thanks.

You should give us some decent info to work with.
Right now it's just: it doesn't work, what should I do.

It's not a map error. The fault lies with you.
Follow the steps the moderators always suggest.

Wrong, totally wrong, I did everything moderators always suggest and try everything before made my post. If you don't have nothing to say don't waste your time with answers like this.
Thanks.

You may have. You just are not telling us anything useful.

Number one rule is telling what you have done, what you have and what's not working.

You are postulating some general map error?

None of the 925 USA maps are working with my TT one, even the one with meta codes. I have navcore 9510 and when I go back to 920 works pretty good. I made a fresh start and delete everything, nothing not working. There is not .dct in map folder.

Even the ones with meta codes?
Surely you are not half expecting the ones without meta to work?

Did you use option 1 to get the updated meta info?

Even the one with meta code.
What do you mean with option one?

Just use option one.

The updated meta should have the right meta for your map.

I noticed at one time that FA did not get the latest data.

Did you observe FA reporting the map error?
(and why notj)

In that case I copied a copy of the updated-meta.txt (previously downloaded) to the root of the TT and renamed it meta.txt.
Also copy FA to root of TT and run it.

You can also make your own meta.txt file containing the meta code for the map.
