it`s been a long time since i updated my old Go 930, I`m now looking at the best and easiest way to do this so as I can give it to my son to use, it seems like the Bootloaderversion=5.5279 is on the device but last map is from 2014, any advice on which map to choose as I have looked and cannot see the go 930 being listed in the map chart? and best navcore to run on this device, all help appreciated thanks

Update the navcore and then re-patch it with FastActivate (instructions are provided):

Thanks for yoyr help, I have just got to work out now how to get rid of the screen stuck on I AGREE, but iv`e added the navcore and currently downloading the correct map with meta code

Okay latest problem I`m having, signed up to filefactory, but I`ve tried downloading several files and each time I go to open them it says they are either unrecognised file, corrupt or damaged, any thoughts on what the problem could be,

Yes, you need to update your installed copy of WinRAR to version 5.0 minimum (it does say it next to the download link of FastActivate)

From my side, 7zip was working for me more than 10 years, for tomtom one -> 920.
Always easy to get and free.
