Monday I'm going to buy a TT GO 950 on the advice of a number of members.

Now I want to know what to do.

My thing:

• Wants new NavCore (the most recent of which is possible)
  Map europe complete.
  If the software on the navigation, and the entire directory on the SD card if possible.
  Is an 8GB card sufficient?
  And works TMC (traffic etc), also on '' carved folders ''?

Good choice on device

1. Let TTHome update it for you, if it isn't already updated it'll update it to NC 9.510
2. Latest fully featured Europe 960.7056 is available here and meta has been released so you'll have no problems with activation.
3. Yes, you can copy the lot to the SD card and run it from there if you like
4. Yes, an 8GB card should be sufficient depending on how may maps you want on the device
5. Yes, RDS-TMC will work fine assuming you have the receiver and it's plugged in (WTF is a 'carved folder'?)

it is possible to copy only the map europa to the SD-card and and the software(navcore) on the internal?
To not have any delays. Or is everything depending on the internal hardware + witch navcore you use?

The ad says this: Holder with built-in TMC antenna (NL free file information), so i assume it haves a RDS-TMC build-in?

Either is possible, you can put just the maps on the SD card or both the maps and the navcore, there is no real delay if you have a class 10 card so it's up to you which way you do it

Ok, so you mean that the unit you're buying comes with the 'Active' dock which has RDS-TMC already built in...I have the same one, it's seen by many people as the best unit for RDS-TMC and always connects up fast and works well, like this:

I dont know what i will reciece, the as says build-in RDS-TMC so i assume it does. So i hope this works with the maps.
What are the best ways to patch the nc and map.

I have a 8GB SDHC card, so i want to use that for the map and the internal for the NC just copy both seperated??

Yes, the Active dock will work with the maps.

Download the latest [Please Register or Login to download file] and patch the NC and map using options 2 & 3

If you want just the maps on the SD card, put a copy of ttgo.bif from the internal onto the SD with the maps, then patch
