Hi, great site you have here.
Just wondering if someone has a recommendation for this tomtom.
I don't want to appear lazy but I had a look about and saw that navcore 8.410 has been known to work , but I also read that 8.419 has worked for people - Is there a big difference?
Also I'm not sure if things like IQ routes and cspeech will work with this tomtom so don't really know which map to chose. I was thinking 8.65.3259 if they aren't possible and .3245 if they were.
Thanks for any help.

What is your current navcore? What area do you require a map for?

Sorry about that. I haven't got it with me at the moment but I'm sure it was 8.08 with bootloader 55136.
I would like the map for the UK.
Thanks.

If you are fairly new to upgrading, go here:
TomTom Automatic Navcore Installation Read the instructions carefully, then select
SE_Navcore.8.412.1236_32mb_devices.rar If your unit has a microphone, you can use 3245. If not, use 3256, which has IQ & ALG.

Thanks a lot , looks like it has all worked.
Just one more question; once it has planned a route it says 'IQ routes disabled' I imagine this means the tomtom doesn't support that function?

Main Menu, Preferences, Planning preferences, select "Always plan fastest route", click "IQ Routes" in the lower left corner, select enable.

Thought it sounded like it was something I could change.
