All different download sites

Mon Mar 12, 2012 11:47 pm

Is there people in the forum who have affiliate account with the sharing providers, I have seen numerous on here foe a while now but never said anything, now however its getting worse.

All free download slots on this server are currently in use.For immediate access, upgrade to FileFactory Premium. Alternatively, you can try again shortly.
Retry download

When you click the retry download it never does, it forces you to pay or you don't get it, so my question what is the point of sharing it when you have to pay to get it, Its cheaper to get a valid untouched map from Tom Tom as we can now buy the maps quarterly for £10.95 about $14.00. My point is I pay $12 for three months just to get the map I need, and then would not use it again, 3 months later the same again it gets dearer everytime. What would be the point of paying for a years subscription only to use it 4 times a year pure waste of money seeing as a years sub is dearer than the price of a years sub to TomTom.

It never used to be this way this was the best site to come to for what you needed, and the best support, they were always put into (linked in) in a nice neat row and you could get them all in one go. Now they are all over the place. I paid for a years download from Filesonic 2 days before they decided to stop filesharing, lost my money. So I will not pay for another to rip me off, just when they get the Jitters. :scratch_one-s_head_

All the best

I never cease to be amazed, that the low number posters are the ones that do all of the complaining. We've been doing this for quite awhile & do things the way we do for a reason. You have no idea what we go thru, including the aftermath of the megaupload shut down, just to keep the files active for our members.
If you must complain, I prefer you do it on somebody else's forum, not Navitotal.

I agree...
It is always easier to complain even if everything is offered free.
When I was hosting ALL my files at MU users complaint because they prefered a different host and that it is too complicated to get the protected links.
When using RS the users complaint because some files got offline due to no downloads.
Now FF is one of the few hosters left that
a) keeps the files alive
b) is available in the USand other DCMA affected countries
c) is constantly upgrading the servers to cater for all the users coming from other hosters

As a suggestion I would say we completely stop offering any files and only give technical advise - maybe the users are happier when they buy their stuff from TT and Co.

And yes, I got no complaints at all from active or long term users of our forum.
Most complaints from zero posters, followed by the ones that can't read our instructions and tutorials so they ask for every little bit again and again, and weirdly enough it stops for users with more than 50 postings completely.
To say it clear : If you don't like the conditions here, go and buy your stuff, otherwise call your mum and cry at her, not Navitotal ;)

Low poster or not, I have been a member on here for many years, and therefore I was making an observation. If you wish to call that a complaint then fine

2nd Tendriver you know me from on here for a long time I have conversed with you many times, also when you were the owner and only admin and when you were on the other site before the breakup, I supported you then, oh how memory is short.

I must also say Downunder35m how did you get a job on here because when I have read many of your posts, you are always insulting someone, and my mother is dead, so I can't call her. Insult me fine but leave my mother out of it, she did not say anything to you. And to think I did 22 years in the Army for the likes of you to look down at me. Learn how to speak to people properly or don't do it at all.

I know I will probably get banned for speaking my piece, but you know what I don't care to be honest, because instead of complaining at me you could have explained my question civilly. But you know what I expected nothing else, I expected you Downunder35m to jump first and have a go, I really did not expect it of Tendriver. Thanks for nothing lads. :naughty:

I don't really know why you get offended like this as "cry to mother" is nothing more than a common saying here and not even related to your mother in person...
If you observed this so long as you said, than you might have noticed that a lot has changed since MU is gone.
You have noticed as well that quite a few hosters changed their conditions in terms of uploading and sharing.
There is simply no use to upload to a hoster that has a storage limit of 5gb or that deletes inactive files.
Another problem is the constant killing of links due to copyright claims.
I know it gets frustrating at some stage but instead of complaining about things we can't change (and this true for many files uploaded before the MU crsh too).
It was never a problem downoading from our hosters until the crash but noone mentioned that...
If you would like to hep instead of complaining and playing the offened card for no good reason you could have used your collected knowledge from your observations to present one or two
a) reliable hosters that have none of the bad limits, are available for US users and keep files active for more than 3 months
b) a progessive offer for alternatives to the current system in use

I admit you still might have got a bit of feedback, but as we say here : The echo comes back the way you called ;)
And by the way: 20 years in the army might be good, but there are might be someone here that served quite some time as a parachuter in the army ;)
Can't see any airborne stickers in your avatar ;) LOL, sorry for joke don't feel offended again :)

Don't need them, it was 22 years in the British Army, and I was In the Royal Irish Rangers, part of 16 Air Assault Brigade, so I think that should tell you what we did.

2. "oh how memory is short." Much shorter than you realize. I've never been an owner or admin!!!

Totally irrelavent now, I shall not ask anything else. And as for the files there are plenty of other places to get them.

don't be pedantic you know fine well, we all moved over with you from GPS Underground, after the row broke out, and we stood by you. while you and the others built this forum, oh and how good it was back then, it really was.

You are always Welcome here, but there is nothing we can do about your unhappiness. I read all of your posts & this is not the first time that you have voiced your unhappiness & dissatisfaction with Navitotal.
