another no sound thread

About a year ago i updated my navcore and map to the latest and map to the latest
but like an idiot i never made a backup and ever since i have had no sound (voices or mp3 ar anything) i wondered if someone could tell me exactly what files i need to make my tomtom speak again. I now have the latest navcore and map.
Navcore 9.103.539753.2
Map uk and ireland v850.2821
gps v1.2
boot 5.5259
english

What voices do you have installed ?? and have you got the file "mp3d" in the "bin" folder for the music

i have kate in my loquendo tts folder and lots of voices with the extension .vde ( i can activate maps and stuff but have no idea with voices) and no i have no mp3d in my bin folder

How did you install the Loquendo voices,? i reccomend deliting the folder then installing them through tomtomhome , also put some voices in the folder "voices" we have a wide selection of voices here.

Put this file "mp3d" in the "bin" folder then try the mp3 again please [I](make shure the mp3s are in the folder "mp3") [Please Register or Login to download file]

ive just deleted the loquendo tts folder and installed a voice through my patched tt home but although it has put some voices in my voices folder loquendo tts folder is not there. ive also got the mp3d file in my bin folder thanks.
i downloaded the vicki english voice but still no sound and tried a hard reset

LoquendoTTS Voices do not go in to your voices folder but your folder titled "LoquendoTTS" you need to install computer voices not normall voices, does your unit play mp3's now ?

tomtom home said it had no computer voices and it does play mp3s now but still no sound when playing. before it said wrong file type, where else can i get computer voices from.
today i connected my tt to an external speaker and it wouldnt speak or play mp3 sound but when i tuned to an fm frequency it played mp3 but still wouldnt speak???
