Ok to fix the wrong version error you need to do the following
Change lines 9 + 10 in ttgo.bif to read Latest officiall navcore for your device (if you want to know the figures please ask and i will tell you)
ApplicationVersionVersionNumber=????
ApplicationVersion=????

3.Save the file as ttgo.bak
4.Reboot your device
5.Connect to tthome and that error should not show up now

?

Please download and use navitotal's keygen it is a lot easyer to use with no buttons to press and just 1 .exe file also you will not have to do anything with the meta code as this is all intergrated into the program
Download it here http://www.navitotal.com/forums/showthread.php?2330-AutoActivate-02.09.2010-1.3

Thank you djc for your extremely quick reply! I better check the lates official navcore version numbers with you if I may - for a GO 720.
(It currently has ApplicationVersionVersionNumber=9201 and ApplicationVersion=529550.1 in the ttgo file).

Here you go m8 numbers below

ApplicationVersionVersionNumber=8351
ApplicationVersion=9982

Change the numbers to above, then "save as" ttgo.bak (Not ttgo.bak.txt)

Thanks mate, appreciated. I have done exactly that, but now when trying to update I get the error code 573 again (which is the one shown in #15 of this thread).

Interestingly, after trying this, I have had a look at the ttgo file and it has reverted back to 9201 and 529550.1. I know it was definately saved in the file before trying to update (I saved the new version numbers, exited, reopened the file and the new ones were still there).

Is it something to do with the navcore I recently upgraded or more TT Home issue?

NRT, if you are out there, what model are you using?

ttgo.bif will revert back to the navcore you are using, that is why you MUST save it as ttgo.bak , ttgo.bak will not change back so to confirm;

ttgo.bif - current navcore in use (Open this file edit 2 lines and "Save As" ttgo.bak)
ttgo.bak - latest officiall navcore available

Please make shure these 2 files read the values as i have stated above then come back to me ;)

Ah ha!

Thanks mate, that cleared it up for. When I first tried to run, I got the same error message, I hit the back button and tried the update again - no error message this time:dance:, but in small text was "Download of Map Share map corrections is temporarily not possible. Please try again later."

Might try again later and see...

Hey guys, first-time poster! Just felt I needed to also bring up the issue that I am encountering with Map Share ever since the upgrade to 855. My TTHome tells me on the top-right corner that unfortunately my map hasn't been updated in the past 20 weeks and hence Map Share is unavailable to me.

Strangely enough, my TTHome reports I have 855 installed, including the Device itself when going inside the Map Info. Does anyone know what could be causing this? It really seems strange to me. Any ideas?

My device is a GO 930.

Cheers and thanks for keeping me up-to-date for free, you blokes rock! :)

This error is often caused by a.pna file with illegal characters in it.
Please open the .pna file inside your mapfolder with an Unix capabale Editor like Notepad++ and check if you see any strange symbols.
If so remove them and same for empty lines.
You can compare it with your .pna file from the previous map but don't use the old file.

I'm getting the same message for a NA 855 map. This is not uncommon for a new map. The problem should clear itself in a day or 2.

OK, thanks tendriver.

Still getting the same error messaga from TTH too. Had a look at the pna file. It all looks good, compared it with the old 845 map pna file and appears to be the same layout:

ID=Australia.pna
741515823
855
build=2884
id=547727

Also get the 20 week message in the top right corner as mentioned by ArrowMate above. I will see what happens over the next few days...

The PNA file for the AU maps is ok, I checked them and I get the same problem with Home.
Mapshare can not really until at least a few customers officially have the new maps and used mapshare.
It might take a few days until we can use it.
It also seems that TT have improved on the security as I no longer can use an older Home version - I'm always forced to update.
My trusty 2.6 won't work anymore.
