Europe_1GB_West_970.7075 would not have been included in post 19, if it wasn't compatible with your navcore 8.010!!!
FFR, you might want to read the info in the yellow box at the bottom of every Compat Chart. It should give you a better understanding of what is or isn't compatible with what.

ok, thanks again.

I am now making a fianl udpate of the TT via tom tom home. I understand that this is comaptible with the map I have installed. correct?

TOM TOM home has proposed some (minor) map updates which I have downloaded without too much trouble.

So I am satisfied at this point and on Sudnay I will drive and check the updated UK map.

Hallo again,

so I am quite happy with the new maps.
the only problem Is that last week I was driving in Austria and Germany and disocvered I did not hav these country maps!

My TT has the 1GB memory limit, but Is there any option to add two countries in replacements of others?

No, one can not exchange countries in TomTom maps. And 1 gb isn't that much storage space nowadays.
If you take you laptop with you, one can change the installed map.
For instance Europe_South or Benelux and DE-CH-AT.
But better make sure you're comfortable with the necessary steps.

Thanks,

so the only way is to have different maps and change them depending on the needs.

Happy Easter,

If there's not a map which had got all the countries you need and you have not ample storage capacity that is your only option.
You can download and install all necessary maps at home AND make sure they are all.patched and working. Then you can move these patched maps to your laptop for later use.
Just make sure you are comfortable with the necessary steps and know what you must do.

For your needs & your unit's limited capabilities, the answer is yes.
