help me please to choose the best map for my tomtom go 710 (one that has iberia or even western europe).
feel free to advise me to change or not my bootloder knowing that that i just change it once and had to change it back because it froozed.
any help is welcome to inprove my device.

Since your 710 uses a SD card you can use a map of any size. The only issue is your navcore version, which you failed to mention.

what poi and speed cam should i put in it.

You use the speedcams that match the country you require (See the help file within the cams download) and you can use any poi you require

Also 7.903 is a dinosaur i reccomend to you to upgrade to a v9 navcore

and about poi and speed cam i read that it should go in the map but i think i can creat a foldert with the name "poi".is that right?

Yes 9.103 will work for you use the files below, no need to upgrade progressivly just go straight to 9.103

For the POI and cam files they go directly in your map folder, the cam files will need patching the first time,then updates do not need patching

Then copy your map folder and patch if needed

ty it seems to work fine.didnt take the map that i had off.i just copy all the files and after the reboot all went well.
but........ i remember to have a similar nav that froozed when mp3 music was playing.?! lets hope for the best

It is not unusual for a unit to take a little longer than normal to pick up a signal after updating it's navcore.

gps signal ok my pc rebooted that is why it toke me a little longer to post.

How is your unit at playing mp3's now is it fine ???

no.ty for asking.when i go to the playe,r and select the music, it goes back into navigation mode with a music icon on the left side.but no music?! no michael buble :)

You are missing a file from the folder "bin" look in the same folder in 1 of your backups for the file "mp3d" and put it in the "bin" folder on the new setup , if you dont have it in a backup let me know and i will give it to you

i found the file mp3d in an old navcore that i tried and all seems to be working fine, but will give you a proper feedback when i trie it on the road.
do the pictures need a similar file? some "jpegd" lol.

offtopic:i boght a go910 that does charge the battery and even when conected to the pc and changer the maximum that happens is going and staying in a screen where you see a green background and a white drawing of a tomtom device. the yellow bar doesnt even start or shows and the pc doesnt detects the tomtom.
