Some Binatones have a setting in the device menu to set the path to the New software, If not then replace the MobileNavigator folder in the internal memory but make a copy first.

AutoActivate will not work when connected through Activesync but we can work around that later.

I have replaced the MobileNavigator folder in the internal memory and restarted the device, it starts with a tomtom splash screen in french and asks for a voucher on clicking on the voucher it displays cannot find ieexplorer, then out of memory.

I have managed to resolve my last issue, tomtom is now installed but in French, it would seem that the download is a french version.
Please can you advise. :)

It's not a french version, it's just the language is set to french, You've done all the hard work now, Have you activated the map yet?

I have activated the maps ok, I took it out for a test drive and there is no GPS signal, it is set to receive the signal via the built in antenna, it's been 2 hours now and still no signal.
I have tried resetting the unit and going into the GPS setting but it just sits there saying waiting for a signal. Maybe this unit is a quite compatable.

What have you set the gps settings to? Your baud rate may be wrong.

The options were to use the internal, external or bluetooth. I choose the internal.
Another issue was that when going to navigate using the postcode facility you had to enter the postcode and then there was no OK option, you had to manually select the town, street and house number. The speed cameras were grey out as were the POI
To be honest I have reloaded the original software...but I would like to thank you for all the time and effort that you have given me.

You would have needed to select Other NMEA receiver, Baud 57600 and Com 7

If you were using UK maps you need the ZIP files found here to use postcodes

Unzip the 2 Great_Britain files and place in a folder called Zip in the root of your device alongside your map folder.

Hi People!

I'm writing from Brazil. I bought F350 model GPS from a guy, that did'nt know how to install Brazil map into a days ago.

Well, I got unlock using WolfNCU, and installed iGO Navigators succesfully.

I used the GPS until yesterday morning. But, it was biggining a error message when I tried ON the device at night.

It's display message below when I click on Navigation button:
"User interface resolution [480x234] is not supported or compatible skin can not be found. Exiting application." I click on OK and the GPS is restart automatically.

I not reconfigured nothing about resolution. I used it until yesteday morning very well.

I think that any trouble in the WinCE. What do I do to fix this problem? Is it necessary WinCE reinstalation?

Could somebody help me about this case, Please?

PS.: Sorry for my (very) bad English...

iGO on your device seems to be set for a 480x234 device but your device is 320x240. This is not a WinCE problem and it shouldn't be too hard to fix.

First, Backup and delete the save folder in the iGO directory, This removes all the settings, A new save folder will be created next time you start iGO.

Second, Post your sys.txt file here

Third, If you only want to run iGO and nothing else a unlock is not needed.

I think that it's not navigator problem. I was returned to original navigator program before posting previous Thread and happened the same.

So, I think that WinCE problem because the problem ocourr before charge WinCE.

The origin of the problem is the SD card. I found it removing SD card and On the device and click Navigator Button. And, VOIALÁ!... the Binatone original navigator program!

I willl format SD card to test or buy other one tomorrow.

started as a tomtom thread then got hijacked by a igo thread lol.
Hi guys I'm trying to put tomtom onto 2 wince 6.0 binatones. 1 is a b350 microsd version and the other is a f350 normal sd. I have done many of these before so I know a little about the setup of files etc. I have used easyactivationtools to get dct for map I can load up tomtom from either memory card via windows or flashdisc using navigation on binatone menu screen. The system is freezing up all the time after a satalite signal is found and I keep getting out of memory errors. Any suggestions please.

Suggestion #1, Tomtom does not work properly on WinCE 6.

Thanks fatboyfun I've decided to go for igo primo and its all new to me. I've got it running from sd card and it's running great. How can I get my saved poi's from ov2 to primo. I tried poi editor but that needs a base.db file but I only got uk.poi file in my poi folder in igo/content.
