Postby hubba » Fri Oct 22, 2010 5:31 pm

Hi
I have a IQ Routes (4EK0.001.01)
I have tried to update the map.
I want to have Scandinavia and he says I can not have the map has been tested with both 850 and 855 and four different activators.
Sometimes it starts and sometimes it's only logo
I've tried everything including different navcore

thats problem #1 then,,,

NavCore version 9 dont work well under 3.5" screens...

so you need to install version 8 NavCore

and i suggest you get this one --> SE_Navcore.8.412.1236_32mb_devices.rar

from this thread here --> http://www.navitotal.com/forums/showthread.php?2831-TomTom-Automatic-Navcore-Installation

once installed, reply to me

then, use TomTom-Clear-Flash-Tool on your device,

just to see if that would help you pass the boot logo

download it here --> http://www.navitotal.com/forums/showthread.php?1914-TomTom-Clear-Flash-Tool

and run it 2 or 3 times consecutive....

dont worry, this wont format your memory, it wont delete your files...

ok now time to start over 100%

backup your current tomtom --> follow my tutorial here to do so --> http://www.navitotal.com/forums/showthread.php?885-How-to-Backup-your-TomTom-Device

then format your Tomtom completely! not delete files, format it!

right-click on your TomTom's drive letter and select format, use FAT32

once its formatted,

install the same navcore again,,, SE 8.412 ... like i suggested you

then reboot your device, wait before putting any map in there ok,,

does it load? can u now see the menu?
