Clearly new to this tech, what is this file and the significance of this please?
Can I implement one or copy it from my (assuming it has one) existing navcore?
I may have forgotten the like button however if you read page one I said the word thanks at least four times to Buffon.
Device is running normally on old software again.
The ttgo.bif is a unique file to your device that contains the serial number, model number and other information. It is critical to running and activating maps etc
No, the swap file is built into an SE navcore that helps to overcome the limitations of limited RAM
Hitting the thumbs up button is good forum etiquette as it becomes part of a persons profile and is easily read on every post under their name. Members who have zero thanks under their name are less likely to be helped as they appear to be impolite and ungrateful.
Good...

A One XL is pretty much the same device only it has a wider screen
I wouldn't normally do this but I've done all of the work for you on the following download. It's the latest NC 9.541 SE with swap file, map, speedcams etc and should work unless of the cautionary caveat I spoke of earlier but you have a backup anyway and it's worth a try!
Delete everything and then extract the archive to your device. Start it up and wait for the error message. Turn it off again and plug into your PC (there should be a new ttgo.bif file created now).
Run FastActivate and select option 2 to activate the map and speedcams...disconnect and test.
