Can I update my TomTom 500?

Hello

Thanks for inviting me to the forum.

Its been a few years since I updated my map and have no idea now. (old age)

I am running 8.302 Version and the map I have been using is v870.3406

I would use easytools but I don't have that any more. Appreciate there is plenty of stuff to read but I guess what I am asking without slowing down more old 500, should I stay on V8 and update map, or can I progress to V9? Do I still use easytools, and if so where can I get it now?:crazy:

Thank you. I see tools have moved on. Going to have a look now and work this out.

OK - seems straight forward.

going to stay with version 8 I think. 500 has a slow CPU.
