cant put map on tomtom xl

hi guys - ive got a tomtom xl, with only 1 gb internal memory, ive found a map western europe 860-3126 whic is around 700mb...i can copy this to my tomtom unit..starts of at copying and says "27 minutes remaining"..after about 5 minutes goes to "1 hour remaing"...half way through the copying i get an error message saying that it couldnt install cline.dat and it was corrupte with 0x80070570 error message...i know that there is nothing wrong with the map cos im using it on my go530..any ideas why ?

Appears to me, that actual card is dead or simply not enough space on it. Could try TT flash tool before attempting new copying

I think I see the problem. Check the map size.

Try to use command "chkdsk X: /R" from commad prompt ( X = TomTom drive letter )
maybe you files not damaged, maybe it is disk sector what is damaged....

He is/was trying to put a 1GB map on a 1GB card. See post 3.

Yes, this is big sector problem sectors Is Not Enough
realy i do not see that, just looking error code
