Cant use maps on TomTom Go 520

Postby fartblast » Fri Nov 24, 2017 11:11 am

I have just updated with the latest 1000 8641 UK map and used FastActive to generate dct. I now get a message 'You cannot use this map on this device:' for all of the downloaded maps which used to work OK, now only the original 815 map that came with the GO 520 is still working. The device is running the original 9.510 app I have tried to re-patch using FastActive without success. It looks like a file has been lost or replaced. Can someone tell me how to get the maps working again.

UPDATE: Problem solved.
I copied the ttsystem over to the SD card and ran FastActive. This time it worked and everything is working fine again.
Its been a few years since I've done this so I had to think what could be missing and it was the ttsystem file.

Any idea how to patch TomTom HOME in FastActive? I get a message saying 'TomTom HOME Profile DLL Not Found' This means I can no longer update the maps using HOME.

As Holyhead has correctly pointed out...double posting is frowned upon and usually will be ignored

However, I will answer it on this occasion:

Completely close TomTom Home and try this....

Go to the following location and move the folder to a safe place...it'll be called [email protected]:

C:\Users\User_Name\AppData\Roaming\TomTom\HOME\Profiles\????????.default\extensions

Then replace it with a pre-patched version that you can download from [Please Register or Login to download file]

No, it's not a navcore...it's the NC 9.510 patch you were asking for

Did you follow my instructions?

Make sure the path is correct:

C:\Users\User_Name\AppData\Roaming\TomTom\HOME\Profiles\????????.default\extensions

If you're sure you're in the right place...just extract the archive into the extensions folder, reboot the PC and try Operate my device in TT Home
