Carminat Live Navcore 9.844 patching and map activation

In that case th SD can be used in other cars too, but you can not make a working backup of the SD.
You might try to do a backup of the original SD with Home, than put a new SD into the Carminat and start it to initialise the card.
Now use this SD with Home to put the backup on - if you are lucky Home will include the map and get it to work, but it was never tested to be working.

I tried to do a backup of the original SD with Home, but there is no possibility....
HOME tells me to initialize the card before using it.
To do so enter it into the navigation device and turn on the device.
I do not have the chance to do anything with HOME.

That is weird, unless you never had the SD in your Carminat.

If You check with TTH the map for CARMINAT TOM TOM LIVE Release 9.844 is Europe 880.3812

No, that's correct.
The SD is a virgin .... never placed in a Carminat devices.
If I insert the device Carminat then it works.
I have a blank SD with Tomtom map Italy ....
But I would like to put a map of Europe patched.
Do you have any suggestions for testing?

All I can offer is on the first page.

Thanks for the check, in that case I have to say that we still can't provide a working solution for the Carminat Live :(
