Thank you for this information.
Did you modify the ttgo.bif to link it to the 8.843 application?
Do you delete the loopdir file that may be in conflict too?
Ok let me complete my story :-)
I first downloaded the new navcore 8.843 via tt home on my SD card with patched navcore 8.842 and Europe map 1005.
After updating my carminat to 8.843 I found out map 1005 was not working anymore.
Since version 1020 is available, I thought it would be better to patch the new navcore with the latest map and downloaded the map from the link on this site.
As described in the tutorial I formatted my SD and connected to my carminat for the loopdir folder.
Then I've put the navcore 8.843 (which was already on my pc after updating via tt home) on the SD, renamed ~tsystem to ttsystem and patched with fastactivate.
I created ttgo.bif with 8843 in it and put map Europe 1020 on the SD and patched with fastactivate. I afterwards deleted the file in the loopdir folder.
When It connected the SD to my carminat it kept rebooting. So I retried the procedure a couple of times without succes.
Since the map which was originally delivered with the system was still working I thought Iet's try with another map.
So I downloaded map western Europe 1020 and patched with fastactivate. (Same ttgo.bif with 8843 in it and loopdir file deleted)
When connecting to my carminat it was running fine. So that's why I think that map europe 1020_9247 linked to on this site might be corrupt.
