What truck navcore version did you install? Did you do a clean install or an overwrite install?

I use a N8 and a 730, never had a problem with the connection except that only handsfree and phonebook transfer is supported.
Have you set the phone to visible to all?
Did you try to manuall connect from the TT and if no luck to connect from the N8?
The automatic connection will only work once you had it connected properly and set the permissions to allow.

I can use it to make calls and phone book but not to connect for wireless

That's normal, say thanks for that to Nokia and TT :(
They use different protocols which are not compatible, nothing you can do about it.
Tried with Anna and Belle on the phone and almost any NC on the TT, I only get the same services as you.
