I'm trying to find the correct user manual for a Start 1GB (serial: XC).

Found the link below. The problem is the UI looks nothing like what I'm seeing on the screen.

I can't find any setting option either to tell me what software version is loaded. The UI really is basic.

The reason I'm after the manual is because I can't find any option to set the route planning; fastest, avoid motorways etc. Creating a new route just goes straight to generating it, and there's nothing in Settings either.
Calculate Alternative route gives no options either. It just goes straight to manking a new route.

Got the serial from the back of the device (XC) which means it's a Start 1GB. Map version bottom right is 9.057.

Any help appreciated.

No user manual in the .rar either. It appears to be navcore.

If anyone has a link to a user manual that matches the UI of this device, please drop a url.

To answer my own question, there is no way to set route planning on this model. It uses 'IQ Routing' which is meant to work out your fastest route based on average road speeds and traffic at the time of day you want to travel. It seems they did away with the option of asking you, so a step back from the earlier model it replaced (Go300).

The only way to force the route onto a road you want is to add a waypoint, but you can only add one if using the GUI.

Doesn't it have the option of using (or ignoring) IQ Routing via Planning Preferences/IQ Route etc?

Wich navcore have you used still 9.057. Have you tried the
