Custom sound on Customs POIs (AKA TourGuide in Garmin)

Postby Tribilin » Wed Feb 16, 2011 2:38 pm

Ahoy there people!
I just wanted to know if any of you knows a way to build "TourGuide" files for TomTom, just like the ones used in Garmin

It is just a custom sound triggered in a special point, POI (much like speed cameras and such)

If anyone knows a way, please share it!!

Which software to use in PC, formats, etc.

Thanks a lot

Put all the POIs, with a .bmp for each different POI, that you want in the map folder. Add all the sounds in the sounds folder. Set the alerts in Manage my POIs.

Yes, I read about that, but my question is more that if I can put everything together on a single file (like Garmin's .GPI) to be able to offer it for download and be able to just copy it to my GPS and be ready to work (avoiding to make activation on alerts on manage my POIs)

Thanks a lot
