Even USB 1.0 transfers in one go, just slower.
Are you using the original Navcore?
What bootloader is currently installed - check the ttgo.bif for that.

In my case even when I formatted the onboard memory, I had VERY SLOW transfers, and "buffering" quite often with all computers I used it with until I used it with my "Super-Charger" ports.

Please unpack the attached bootloader to the root of your device/SD card.
At the next boot this BL will be installed, allowing you to install the BL of the original Navcore if necessary.
In most cases this BL solves the problem.

The BL will show up on your device as 0, but it is the 5.5128.

2. (and I have used it with versions from 8.010 to 8.414 very well)

I may try the 9.205 again now that I have a solid connection point with my computer.
3. I think I will also try the samantha voice with it...

1. No reason you shouldn't be very happy with it.
2. Samantha will function very well with any navcore that you use.
3. Same as point 2.

In response to advice from here, I have decided to keep the original, but updated 8.083 navcore with VocalizerTTS (Samantha and Tom were available to me with that navcore), and the updated 885.4094 United States Maps. Thank you to all.

Hi, as per my thread : http://www.navitotal.com/showthread.php?10361-Have-I-Bricked-it
I've had exactly the same problem as the original poster - very slow data transfer, with the unit 'dropping out' after a few moments, resulting in crashed download attempts.

I followed the advice above, Downunder's link to update the boot loader, PROBLEM SOLVED!
Just loaded a map in 10 mins, that took over 24 hours on previous attempts. :clapping_mini:
