I'm looking for the demo file for the XXL 540TM. Also known as the in store demo. It's contained within Script folder in the root of the device.

I have the demo for a One New Edition, which I will attach the folder. Not sure how to run it, but can view all the images in the folder. So if anyone has the file and input on how to run it, that would be great.

I have looked thru a dozen or more navcores & none have a demo.script in the Script folder. Where did your copy come from?

It came pre installed on my device, when I bought it at costco early 2007.

That must be something that Costco had TomTom add on. My GOX20 never had such a file.

To run a demo of a loaded route, click the blue rectangle in the lower right corner of the navigation page, click the "Details" gray rectangle in the lower left corner of the screen that opens, click "Show route demo" in the screen that opens.

I also found online the demo image files for a XXL 550, but not the demo.script file. The images are .jpeg's but I believe they were originally .bmp's. There is a total of 58 images in this demo slideshow.

It would cool if we could get a collection of all the demos for all the devices.

It's not the route demo, it's a demo of the device's features (a slideshow of images). The demo you would see in a store.

I'm a fan/collector of TomTom.
I am using one of the images (image 2 of the XXL 550 demo) as a startup image.

OK, as a fan/collector of TomTom, this appears to be something for you to do on your own. I don't see how it would benefit our members.

It's fine that your're personally not interested, somebody else on here might find it interesting.

It has nothing to do with my personal interest. This isn't my first day on the job. I pretty well know what our members are or are not interested in.
