Download is not working.

Thu May 29, 2014 10:59 pm

I am trying to download the map TomTom USA_Canada_and_Mexico v930.5605. I wanted to download the one with the automatic installer and patcher. A page comes up with the file in 8 different parts. I click on the downward arrow to download a part and I am directed to another page asking if I want a "Fast Download" or a "Slow Download". I clicked on the slow download and nothing happens.

I solved my own problem! I downloaded and used another web browser and the map download works now. The web browser I regularly use didn't display the page correctly.

FFR, a work around for your regular web browser. Right click on the red slow download button. Click properties. Copy the link. Open a new page in your browser, copy the link into it's address window & click Enter. Click the red slow download button. You will see a 60 second timer. At the end of the timer, uncheck "Download with FileFactory's download manager", & click the red "Click here to begin your download"' button.

I dont see the "Download with FileFactory's download manager" option. All I see is the "Click here to begin your download" button. Also, when I download around 150MB of a part, it keeps saying that the download has failed. I kept trying to redownload it and it kept failing at around the same spot.

1. Lucky you. Just skip that part of the work around & keep going.
2. Looks like your download issue is at your end. Not ours. I had no problem downloading the parts.

I tried many times and the download finally completed. It was most definitely my problem.
