NOW i am in trouble!
1.restored 720, put the map in SD card, reboot, put fastactivate.exe in SD, run...not working, still gives same 161 error message.
2.put fastactivate.exe in device root, run...not working, 720 starts rebooting and rebooting.
3.This time even TThome not able to restore my 720..how can i restore it manally?

what windows version you use and is it 32bit or 64bit

If you use 64bit there is new version release today some 64bit fix

I use Windows 7 home.

go your map directory if here is mapsetting.cfg file copy it safe place and then delete it from SD-Card/Device Internal do that all maps, and try reboot

and download new fastactivate

It works! on TThome only though.
1. I found mapsetting.cfg in USA map ( in device), deleted, reboot.
2. install map in sd card,
3. Didn't use new fastactivate, mine is 32bit. use the old one in sd card.

Sounds like you have not patchd your ttsystem or using a SE version ?? confirm this for me plz to move on ? You must either patch your officiall navcore for your device with FastActivator Premium Edition or use a Pre-Patchd SE version

I didn't patch ttsystem. What i have now is App: 8.351,

You must do it download latest FastActivate Premium and copy it root directory (same directory where is ttsystem and maybe PNDnavigator)

and push button ttsystem/PNDnavigator that patch your navcore

You dont need to use an SE version as you are using the officiall navcore so just extract this Pre-Patchd version to the root of your device, I have just patchd it for you

No, you don't NEED a SE ttsystem, but it gives you more flexibility & options for your device. I always use a SE ttsystem file.
