Editing Navcore?

About 10 months ago I changed Navcore in my TT0neV3 from 7.903->9.205.There are 2 x things that get on my nerves that I would like to change.

1.I dont like the map being left on 2d view when I finish a route,I would like it on 3d automatically.
2.I dont like the current street Im driving on being displayed above the menu bar.The older navcore had the street displayed in the menu bar,which I preferred.

Im wondering if I can edit the navcore to change this-or should simply change navcores to an earlier one.If edit then how,or if earlier navcore,then which one is the latest with the "older type" options that I preferred.

The V8 Navcores will give you the look and and feel of your original Navcore but without the 3 pane status bar.
The 8.4xx offer support for all map features except HNR.
