Error on truck map meta, what should i do

Postby daf » Fri Apr 27, 2012 8:01 pm

Hi
I have just put the latest truck map on my sd card along with navcore etc.
It has auto activate included but when i try it on tom tom it says cant use this map.
I tried fast activate and very quickly as its working i noticed error on meta.
Could i delete the folders of the meta on the map and try again, would fast activate replace the meta files.

The truck maps come with 2 .meta files included in them. DO NOT TOUCH THEM IN AT ALL!!! After you patch the map, you will have the same 2 .meta files, plus 2 .meta.dct files.
The message you are getting, indicates that the map is not patched. You can confirm this by looking for the 2 .meta.dct files in the map folder after patching. No .meta.dct files = unpatched map.
The FastActivate 1.8.8.5 meta.txt is up to date as is. Put FastActivate & a copy of you device's ttgo.bif file in the map folder & run FA from there.

I did that but no luck, what i have done now is put an earlier 839 navcore and patched everything then. Its working now so happy days. Not sure if there is any gain in the 839 navcore with auto activate in it to be honest but at least i have the latest map.

Please define "no luck". That doesn't give me anything to work with.
