eurovox sat nav help???????

hi I have an old eurovox nav system and I have deleted all the software on it can any one point me in right direction so I can get it to work need uk maps etc

Why did you delete the software?

Secondly do you know what its specs are?

well my dad had it and he delete all

I would imagine iGO8 would work, however what file.exe the device expects is a problem.

no sorry im not much help just know its 3 inch square with built in gps and says eurovox nav on the top

I can't find any details about eurovox gps.

It doesn't help that eurovox is a brand of 'special' cable receiver commonly in use before nagra3!!!

You can try the common filenames, ie MobileNavigator\MobileNavigator.exe, \menu.exe etc...

Failing that can you connect it to the PC as USB mass storage? You may be able to recover some of the filenames using software like Recuva...
