Are you open tomtom HOME and download profile file when you first time use "Operate my TomTom" (these file must be downloaded before you run fastactivate)
That is only reason why you patch it "Operate my TomTom"

1. Open TomTom HOME and use "Operate my TomTom"
2. Download files what program ask you
3. Shutdown TomTom HOME and patch it

I prefer Pietu's 3 steps, rather than your 17 steps, each of which has to be enlarged individually.

Does the latest FastActivate 1.7.0.2 include metas for the latest 860 maps, particularly UK+ROI 860.3101 ??

Willing to wait if the metas still need to be added .... or will it find the newest metas when I run it ? (sorry, i've never used it before)

Hi,
I patched my tom tom XL iq routes. I patched Iberia 855.2884 map and it worked just fine. Now I downloaded Iberia 860.3101 but I can not patch it. When I try to patch, Fast-Activate just shuts down. I already checked the charts and the map is compatible with my navcore version and the meta.txt file has a mete from my map version.
Any help will be welcome.

Use latest FastActivate HERE

try patching inside map directory if not work from root directory

copy FastActivate.exe to map directory and run

If not work try copy ttgo.bif from root directory to map directory too and rename it ttnavigator.bif and try again...

Done it all, still no luck. When I push the Map/Voice/Speedcams button, FastActivate just shuts down itself. I did it root directory, map directory ... I am not sure about this new method "hard disk activation" from
"Note 6: If you want activate maps directly harddisk copy tt*.bif c:\MY.BIF, then activator works inside map directory and activate all sub directory too." I mean I do not understand the procedure.

note 6: if you want activate map directory eg "desktop", you have map directory in desktop.... you can try it too if you want...
you not need care it if you use activator from sd-card or device internal memory

i get that same error some days ago, activator just shutdown, i copy my navcore backup to sd-card and then it works again.... i do not know why (if this happen again i check that error)
