Hi tendriver

I'm really grateful for the help you have given me and also the links for the 'maps', speed cams and post codes.

I've downloaded the speedcams and post code without problem but I can't seem to get the UK & ROI maps to download.

When I click on the link from your last reply, it takes me to a countdown timer for the download to begin and, when the timer has reached 0, I choose the 'european link' and then click on the download button below but this brings up a window to download a 'download manager' and after this installs, I'm expecting the map to download but nothing appears in the d/l manager window. I'm now going around in circles and each time I get to the download window, another d/l manager download and installs.

I'm not familiar with d/l managers, how do I get the map to download?

1. [Please Register or Login to download file] Copy this direct link & paste it in a new IE window. It will open to a LinkSave.in page.
Scroll down until you see "The visitorpassword you have entered is wrong...." In the gray box below this, type navitotal, then click keyboard Enter.
Scroll to the bottom of the page that opens. Under the word "Download" click the single orange arrow pointing down. The rest is self explanatory.
2. We never use d/l managers.

Hi tendriver

Many thanks for the direct link to the UK & ROI 875_3613, I've just downloaded it but, can you tell me what the difference is between v875.3613 and v875.3675 which is also available?

I don't want to use d/l managers either - once on their website, I'm getting loads of 'pop ups' which I hate.

I have a few more questions which I hope you will take the time to answer for me?

1. How do you go about getting direct links for these maps?

2. I am a truck driver and I've seen maps that refer to 'truck maps', I'm assuming that these have things like 'low bridges, width restrictions, height restrictions and weight restrictions'. These features are extremely valuable to truck drivers and I'd like to know if these maps be downloaded and activated like the normal maps and, if so, is there a latest truck map for the UK & ROI?

3. My daughters TomTom 30 IQ Routes has 'lane guidance and IQ Routes', what part of the software on these devices actually gives you these features and could the features be used on my ONE 3rd Edition?

If so, can you give me any info on how to do it please?

Regards, bheart

1. 3675 is not a full featured map, like 3613 is.
2. You NEVER have to use a d/l manager for any Navitotal download.
3. Right click the map link, then click Properties.
4. You must use a Truck navcore with a Truck map. Yes, installation is just like a normal map. Latest Navcores Navcore 8.398.1917 WORK inc. Truck - for Go7000/9000, go520/720/920, Go530/730/930 Thanx to the original poster

Europe_TRUCK_875_3649 [2.43GB] OR

5. 'lane guidance and IQ Routes' are included in all of the full featured maps. Both 3613 & 3649 maps are full featured.

1. There is no reason to be apprehensive about anything that NAVITOTAL posts. However Navitotal is not responsible for 3rd party posts.

2. If you put FastActivate 23.10.2011 {1.8.7.4} in the root of your device, it will patch everything that is patchable. To patch a single map, put the map folder on your desktop. Put a copy of you device's ttgo.bif file, & FA in the map folder, then run FA

It would help to be more specific.
The error you mention is in regards to patching TT Home, since that is only for the device emulation you can disregard it.
If you can't patch Home it means you never used the simulation with the installed Navcore before, so don't bother ;)

Sorry, but I do not read English, so for you I read through "Google translation"
Why "FASTACTIVATE" works on a computer "WINDOWS SEVEN FAMILY EDITION" and does not work on a computer under "WINDOWS SEVEN STARTER EDITION"?

The Windows Edition does not matter.
It is often a problem of missing enviroments,
or virus - and, or blocking software causing FastActivatate to fail.

Connect you device to you PC. Start TT Home. Run "Operate My Device". TT Home should tell you that it needs to download a few files to run "Operate My Device". Tell it OK. When completed, run FastActivate Latest Update TT Home patcher.

Comfirm that you ran TT Home "Operate My Device". If so, did it run properly? If it did not run properly, what message did you get?
