Recently downloaded 2 maps and sorted the activation with FA and working.

TT Home 2.9 will not open the maps for any updates etc. via USB to TT One XL

Tried using FA to Patch TT Home, comes up with a error 'TomTom Home Profile Dll not found. Again via USB to device.

TT Home says: Internal/Malformed#create Item from server+<Map. Replaced Map "United_Kingdom_and_Republic_Of_Ireland".

FA Help says no files etc are needed to Update TT Home ?

Nobody really uses TT Home any more, it's useless. The chances of any of those map updates being relevant to you are remote

However there are pre-patched files availaable [Please Register or Login to download file]

It's been so long, I can't remember where they're supposed to go...something like: C:\User_Name\AppData\Local\TomTom\Extensions

Hallo their, if i still remember the needed dll file which can be later patched with the FA , you can download it ,scroll in your tomtom untill you find display tomtom on monitor (something like that) once you choose it tomtom will tell you their is a dll file needed for this option then u choose to download it (it will happen automaticly)
once done, then you can patch the tomtom wtih FA ... sorry for long english explain

True, the only reason for patching TT Home is so that you can operate your device through TT Home on your PC...it does nothing as regards map updates etc
