A few questions for the TomTom XL IQ Routes.

Fri Sep 13, 2013 8:01 am

Hello,

First of all sorry for my bad English i am not a native speaker.

I have a Tom Tom XL IQ routes, the map in it is Europe central 855.2884, Navcore is updated version 9.510.

I want to have a new map, but a new map is more than 1 gig big and i have got only 400 mb space left on my device.
Is it possible to move the old map out and put the new one back in?? There is no sd slot in my device.

Is it right that the most up to date map version 915.5074 is for my device?

When the "trick" works can i work with a "illegal" map in my device with TomTom Home?

Thank for the help

No problem, remove the old map and install the new one you mentioned.
The trick spells it name FastActivate and it works like magic.

1. Download & unzip the map that you want. Remove the old map folder from your XL. Copy you new map folder into your XL. Go to FastActivate Latest Update. Read the instructions carefully. Download, unzip & run Fastactivate using options 2 & 3 to patch the 9.510 navcore & 915 map.
2. Yes.
3. Yes.
