France_900_4602 for Tomtom

It seems that
France_900_4602 [399MB] OR
France_900_4602 with Automatic Installer & Patcher
;France_900_4602
8D D8 6F 8D 1A 86 53 27 7C 35 BE 51 0F 5E 67 41 France-665.meta

don't works. My Tomtom Go 720 says :
You can't use this map because it's not activated...

What happens to me ?? :helpsos:

Have you read the tutorials,
have you read the instructions for FastActivate,
have you checked if a .dct file was created,
is the Navcore patched?
You always come back with a similar question ince new maps are out,
time to lear a few things, starting by creating a posting that includes the infos we need ;)

Yes I have posted like this but it's the first time that my update don't work even I did the right things

1. no meta.dct file in the map folder = map is not patched.
2. Maybe I am misunderstanding you reply in red, but I read you as thinking that installing "France_900_4608 with Automatic Installer & Patcher" would also patch your navcore, which it won't do.

Is it possible that the new Windows 8 makes this problem because I am sure that :
- I have a Tomtom go 720 with the Map : france 890_4222
- TomTom said I nned the new map : france 900_4602
- I downloaded it because I saw that the meta is present
- My go 720 was plugged and I run the exe with automatic activation
- All is done exacty like you said but it don't works anyway...

Only one difference I updated my windows 7 ti Windows 8

Well, Win7 or 8 makes no difference at all.
If no DCT is created the first step is always to check again with a correct meta.txt and FA inside the map folder.
You can be as sure as you want, but without a correct code the OS can't take the blame ;)

OK, thank you very much but where can I find a correct meta.txt and a FA (What is a FA ?).

And all available meta codes are upadted in the map thread just check what is available for France ;)

FastActivate Premium 1.8.9.0 Updated 20.11.2012 Note 1 addresses this issue.
