future for old models (ONE with small screen)?

Postby elise_s1 » Sun Jun 10, 2012 8:46 am

to me it seems like most new maps will become available only in versions working with navcore 9.xx and this seems a problem for old models with small screen and little memory (I have a 4N00.012R).
I read navcores 9.xxx are not good for small screen, so may I ask if there is some alternative? Urban Rider models have small screens and 32 MB, could I use the 9.205 NC ? or am I better with the 9.45032?
thanks

There are several 9 navcores that have been tweaked for 32MB units. Make a backup of your current setup. I would try 9.450 first.

If you need more mods you can even check the tutorials and maybe add an internal SD to use bigger maps - or even the Truck functions if you dare...

to be honest the only advantage of my ancient device is its SD slot taking 8GB SDHC...
so it's not a storage problem, more of a display/ram/cpu one.
