TT GO300 power up question

Postby RJ45 » Thu Feb 09, 2012 7:47 pm

Hello,

After upgrading a friend his TT GO 300 (4D00.300) to bootloader 5.5128 (to get SDHC support), and to NC 8.412 (to get IQ-routes) the unit, when its in his car, in the mount, doesn't automaticly power up anymore when he turns his ignition on.
He can turn the device on with the powerbutton and the automatic shutdown (when ignition is turned off) works, but he stated that the unit also turned on when he put the ignition on.

Anyone recognizes this issue and/or knows the fix?

Thanks in advance for your time.

The auto on feature was discontinued after the GO X00 series. Any time a "non-official" navcore is used, the user should expect to lose features specific to his/her unit. This is a prime example. There is no fix & you have stated the only work around.

Thanks for your fast and clear answer Tendriver!

The choice between auto on and IQ-routes will be an easy one, I think.

1. You are Welcome.

2. I agree. It's a "no brainer".
