Hi new to the site and its a wealth of information .
my problem is i have the 530 and have the fast activator in the tomtom root internal memory as well as the U.K and Ireland map and have patched everything successfully but when i boot the tomtom it loads the yellow line then my logo but just reboots all the time and i get the tomtom load up drums so it seems ok ,what am i doing wrong please

I don't see a map listed for the device, are you sure the map files are inside a folder in the root and not in another sub folder?
What map are you using?
Have you done a hard reset followed by the TT clear flash tool? If not do so.
If still no joy I suggest a clean install of NC and map on an empty SD.
