I have some SDHCs that are class 2. They run just as fast as a 4 or 6.

So...

I started again like you said, i now have a working combo of :-

navcore 9.058
bootloader 5.5
Map United_Kingdom_and_Republic_of_Ireland_v865.3245

I now get the same error message when i log into Home, so i changed the .Bif file and saved it as a .bak file, following your instructions in this thread hoping it would solve the issue. which it hasn't, so...

1/ i get an error message when i login into Home with the TT connected.

2/ Home crashes if i try to operate my Go through my pc

Home does pick up all my new software on my unit, which it didn't before and is very happy to update my TT when i connect it.

3/ what is the biggest Sd card my unit can take?

have read 4gb max, have also read someone is using a 16gb SDHC card.

the first two in this post :)

1/ "wrong App Error message"
2/ ok thanks, have been thinking of doing that, but didn't want to do anything until advised, last time i went off and done my own thing i confused tendriver with my ramblings.

Do i need to save anything from the Home files on my pc?

1/ If you CAN get Op my Go working you could just ignore that message.
2/ I'd say just uninstal TTHome completely and delete anything left over cos anything of importance can/will be downloaded/stored next time you do an update.

This a different approach to your problem.

Put the attached file in the root of your 710.
Disconnect & reboot.

My best idea would be to leave it as everything else will work fine in Home.
It is only necessary if you have to set a code for your device, everything else can be done faster on the device itself - IMHO

Thanks Downunder,
I can handle ignoring the error, just would be nice to be able to "op my Go" and not have it crash on me.

also, if i use home to disconnect my device, it doesn't work either, so need to use windows to "safely remove"

am beginning to think that maybe the Navecore isn't 100% stable with my device. but like you say, It all more or less works and does its job :)

I took it for its first trial run the other day, IQ route worked well and lane assist.
was a little slow responding to wrong turns, but once it knew i was on a different road it was very quick to recalculate.
