Hello I have a tomtom GO740 with the above details. I downloaded and copied over the maps United_Kingdom_and_Republic_of_Ireland 875_3675 and used autoactivate. Autoactivate says works fine and DCT ok. But when I boot device says that these maps cannot be used with this device. Further more it says that for the original maps that are installed on the device also. So my old maps that were working are now not working after the autoactivation. Any ideas please? Thanks.

You need to patch the file ttsystem

First time use FastActivate Premium and patch ttsystem/PNDnavigator also...

future use AutoActivate...

You also downloaded the wrong map. You should use UK&ROI 875.3613 on your 740.
