Go910 RDS/TMC problems..

I am running a go910 on NC 9.485X10 with Western and Central Europe 2GB 900.4602 maps. Never tried RDS/TMC before...Just bought a RDS/TMC receiver 4v00.013 and nothing happens when plugged in. I assume I should get the traffic bar and circle....Is this a problem with the mctx.dat file or something else. Thanks.

Have you checked the tutorials?
AFAIK the X10 series uses a TMC connector on the dock, if the receiver is compatible with your device it might be the connector that is causing you problems.
Even with a wrong mctx.dat the traffic bar should appear - if you use the right emulation on your device.

GO910 with any Navcore 'newer' than 9.4 doesn't work with RDS/TMC (I know 9.026 did, don't know about those in between). DU35's 9.430 with skin chooser set to 'native mode' (maybe it's self mode or...) does work with RDS/TMC but you don't get the new menus and, more important to me, you don't get the option to have sound without directions instructions. If only someone with the necessary smarts could include RDS/TMC in DU35's x40 mode it would make a good Christmas present.

Have you tried the 9.485 for X10 models?

Having just discovered what emulations are (!) and how you select them it appears that using 9.485X10 RDS/TMC works in x20 and x30 modes but not the other modes. Thanks for all your help. Much appreciated..time to play!!

I couldn't have tried x30 then (thought I had). I'll try it next year and 9.134 seems faster - no SDK/skins. ** This may have been with DU's 9.430, I tried both and settled on the latter and am now testing 9.134.
